![]() There's got to be a better solution than that. Is there any way to truly remove all traces of CMA from my system so I'll finally be able to uninstall? What am I missing? I would really hate to have to actually do a full system format and install just to get CMA working again. Therefore the technical security rating is 56 dangerous. The software listens for or sends data on open ports to a LAN or the Internet. The process starts upon Windows startup (see Registry key: Run ). The mgnContentManager.exe file is not a Windows system file. NO! Somehow, the CMA install program still thinks it's installed, and will not uninstall. MgnContentManager.exe is a Verisign signed file. Hooray, now it doesn't show up in my Add/Remove programs list, so that means it's uninstalled, right? I also deleted the directory off my C: drive withe the actual CMA software in it. So, I researched how to uninstall programs manually, and found the key in the registry, and removed it. I have tried pointing it to the new contentmanagerassistant.msi, but it doesn't recognize that either. Yep, it's not there because, like an idiot, I deleted the uninstall file. Terrible idea, as now, when I want to upgrade the Content Manager Assistant for PS Vita on my PC, it tries to uninstall the old one, and cannot do so. Okay, so back when I installed Windows 10, I needed to clear off some disk space, and got rid of a number of files from my Installer directory.
